ISDE tiszteleti tanácsi tagság dokumentuma

A Nemzetközi Társaság a Digitális Földért (International Society for Digital Earth - ISDE) elnökének Richard Simpsonnak alábbi formális levele tegnap érkezett a társaság pekingi titkárságáról. Bízom benne, hogy az ISDE kapcsolatok egy újabb ága lehetőséget teremt a hazai szakmai közösség számára is. Ebben a törekvésben kiváló segítséget nyújtottak eddig is dr.Mihály Szabolcs c. egyetemi tanár, Prof.dr.Szabó Szilárd intézet igazgató (Debreceni Egyetem) és munkatársa dr.Bertalan László.

A februári Council telekonferencián 1 percben bemutatkozott a közel 40 résztvevő. A magyar bemutatkozás így került a jegyzőkönyv mellékletébe:

 

A Társaság a Digitális Földért (ISDE) nemzetközi szervezet tanácsülése

Al Gore volt amerikai alelnök 1998 januárjában jelentette be vízióját a Digitális Föld koncepciójával.  Az elgondolást a Kínai Tudományos Akadémia elnöke felkarolta és 1999-től élére állt a Digitális Föld kezdeményezésnek nemzetközi közösséget szervezve szimpózium (International Symposium for Digital Earth) és tematikus csúcstalálkozó (Digital Earth Summit) megrendezésével. 2003-tól magyar szervezetek (FÖMI, HUNAGI, Celk Center, BCE) is bekapcsolódtak a kezdeményezés munkájába. 2006-ban a kezdeményezés Pekingben jogilag bejegyzett nemzetközi szervezet alakult, melynek vezetőségébe később a HUNAGI képviselőjét is beválasztották.

  A Nemzetközi Társaság a Digitális Földért (ISDE) szervezet Tanácsa a múlt év októberében úgy határozott, hogy jövőbeni munkájába bevonja a Tanács korábbi tagjait is, megalakítva a Honorary Council testületet. (“The Honorary Council recognised distinguished former Council members for their institutional memory and service”). Tagjai bár nem szavazhatnak, de megjegyzéseiket, javaslataikat figyelembe veszik.

Ezen felül, tekintve, hogy az ISDE  minden kontinensen rendelkezik regionális hálózattal, a régió fejezetek vezetői az Extended Council tagjaként vesznek rész a Tanács ülésén, szintén szavazati jog nélkül. Az Európa fejezet élére Tomáš Řezník, a Masaryk Egyetem professzora lett jelölve.

 A február 4-i ISDE Tanács ülésre telekonferencia lebonyolításban került sor 37 résztvevővel. A 3 órás ülésen az ausztrál Richard Simpson elnökölt Dr. Zhen Liu főtitkár (Aerospace Research Institute, Peking) támogatásával. Az ISDE Tanács egyhangúan megszavazta a Honorary Council és az Extended Council meghívott tagjait. 

A bemutatkozásnál röviden szóltam az utóbbi 10 évben a CEOS WGISS mellett az MFTTT dr. Mihály Szabolcs vezette fenntartható fejlődési célok munkacsoportjában való részvételemről a COVID időszakig, majd az elmúlt évtől az NJSZT iTF képtár számára annotált szakmai felvételek felviteléről, ahol a négy témakör egyike éppen az ISDE tevékenységi köre. 

Dr. Mihály Szabolcs (MFTTT) és Prof. Szabó Szilárd és Intézete (Debreceni Egy.) ISDE kapcsolatai mellett most egy új csatorna is nyílt, amin keresztül várhatóan lehetőség lesz az ambiciózus ISDE törekvések megismerésére, hazai érdekek szem előtt tartásával a bekapcsolódásra, illetve hazai személyek, műhelyek helyzetbe hozásának elősegítésére. Erre vonatkozóan információ itt is megjelenik.

A Digitális Föld Nemzetközi Társaság (ISDE) 17.

 17th ISDE International Lectures, with the theme of "From Pixels to Policy: 

Advanced Remote Sensing and GeoAI for Environmental and Hazard Mapping". 

The event will feature three speakers to offer insights into AI-driven flood inventory mapping, advanced SAR descriptors for land cover, and the integration of advanced remote sensing with deep learning for ecosystem monitoring. Január 29-én érkezett híranyag a pekingi ISDE Titkárságról: 

"The 9th International Conference on Cartography and GIS (9ICCGIS) will take place in Nessebar, Bulgaria on 16-21 June 2024. The International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) will convene a special plenary session themed “Digital Earth: Geospatial Sources, Technologies and Visualization” as part of the conference programme. Every participant interested in attending this session is cordially welcome to submit an abstract to this special session through the conference website by 11 February 2024.

The ICCGIS is a biannual conference that started in 2006 and since then it welcomes scientists from all over the world to its very successful and fruitful events in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2022. For those 18 years of experience, the Conference had attendees from more than 60 countries and has published more than 700 scientific papers in its proceedings.

Térinformatika, távérzékelés és mesterséges intelligencia a katasztrófavédelemben

 'Távérzékelés és térinformatika a természeti veszélyhelyzet-kezelésben és a katasztrófa-elhárításban' volt a témája az ISDE mai, 8. nemzetközi előadás sorozatának. A tervezett három helyett két előadás és vitája hangzott el 110+ meghívott résztvevővel, köztük Wang Changlin és Milan Konecny professzorokkal. Mindkét előadás témaköre aktuális: 

- egy iráni kiszáradó tó vizgyűjtőjének a globális változás okozta környezeti hatások vizsgálata integrált térinformatikai módszertannal támogatott tér-idő monitoringgal,

- vizes területek tematikus térképezése és változás-elemzése  fejlett mesterséges intelligencia (MI) és távérzékelési technikákkal.

A Clark Egyetem szakértője részéről spontán együttműködési ajánlat hangzott el a kanadai előadó felé. A Digitális Föld Nemzetközi Társaság (ISDE) előadás-sorozatához a szervezet titkárságán keresztül lehet csatlakozni. Az elérhetőségek:
