A Földmegfigyelési Műholdak Bizottsága Információs Rendszerek és Szolgáltatások Munkacsoportjának mai távkonferenciáján

A CEOS WGISS mai munkamegbeszélésén a WGISS-47 találkozó előkészítése került a súlypontba. A rendezvény házigazdája a NOAA lesz Silver Springsben.

MRSS19
We are happy to announce the upcoming event MRSS19 - Munich Remote Sensing Symposium 2019 which will be held in conjunction with PIA19 - Photogrammetric Image Analysis 2019 on September 18th-20th, 2019 in Munich, Germany.
Scope
The importance of remote sensing for the observation of our Earth and other planets is continuously growing, especially since more and more spaceborne data has become freely available to the public via the Landsat and Sentinel missions. In order to reach the goal of remote sensing, i.e. to map our environment both semantically and topographically, methods and algorithms from fields such as signal processing, image processing, computer vision and machine learning need to be combined with sensor- and target-specific domain expertise. MRSS19 seeks to foster the development of approaches from those fields dedicated to remote sensing data analysis. In this context, the following topics shall be addressed:

Topics
§  Exploitation of high resolution space images
§  Semantic segmentation for object detection and land cover mapping
§  3D reconstruction from remote sensing data
§  Geospatial data update and change detection
§  Super-resolution of imagery
§  Hyperspectral image processing
§  Information extraction from synthetic aperture radar (SAR)

A szöveg:

"Please note the recently upgraded Working Group for SDG (WG4SDG) of the Hungarian Society of Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (MFTTT) got the mandate to continue its work embedding the representative of the Hungarian space industry cluster called HUNSPACE.

WG4SDG just submitted an abstract to the 11th  International Symposium on Digital Earth held in Florence late September with title „Unlock and use of EO/Geospatial data for SDG by empowering stakeholder engagement in a transformed society”

Other recent action was the registration to the 4th GEO Technology Workshop „The ERA of Big EO Data” will be held in Vienna late April.

WG4SDG contribution has been welcomed by the Annual domestic Conference GEO Open will be held in Székesfehérvár hosted by the Óbuda University in Springtime. (Douglas Cripe visited this venue already one time)

Other activities will be shared at the next EO4SDG call"

A Nemzetközi Digitális Föld Szimpózium idén a 20. évébe lép. Magyarország (HUNAGI, FÖMI, Celk Center részvételével) 2003-ban szerepelt első alkalommal előadással, poszterrel a Brnoban rendezett szimpóziumon. Attól kezdve szinte minden ISDE rendezvényen volt hazai előadó. Ezt a hagyományt folytatva küldte be ma előadásanyagát a Magyar Földmérési, Térképészeti és Távérzékelési Társaság frissen mandátumot nyert "A Fenntartható Fejlődési Célokért" Munkacsoportja. A szerzői közösség tagjai (Prof. Dr. Mihály Szabolcs, Palya Tamás, Prof. Dr. Zentai László, Hargitai Péter, Iván Gyula és jómagam) szakmai civil szervezetet (MFTTT), felsőoktatást (ELTE), kormányzati intézményt (BFKH FTFF), illetve az űripari szegmenst (HUNSPACE) képviselnek. A visszaigazoltan beküldött előadásanyag-kivonat címe:

UNLOCK AND USE EO/GEOSPATIAL DATA FOR SDG BY EMPOWERING STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT IN A TRANSFORMED SOCIETY
