Az érdekeltek és érdekéődők figyelmébe! Ma érkezett felhívás az EuroSDR tudástranszfer bizottságától.

A ma beérkezett levél:

"Dear colleagues,

The 2022 series of e-learning courses from EuroSDR is now open for registration:

http://www.eurosdr.net/education/course/eduserv20.

Topics of four e-learning courses will be introduced during the hybrid pre-course seminar on 14^th and 15^th February 2022. A detailed program will be available on the website as from 17^th December 2021. Two-week e-learning courses are scheduled from February to June 2022:

• Recent LiDAR Technologies (28 February – 11 March 2022)

Tutor: Gottfried Mandlburger (TU Vienna)

• Working with Volunteered and Crowdsourced Geographic Information (28 March – 8 April 2022)

Tutors: Peter Mooney (Maynooth University) and Levente Juhász (Florida International University)

• GeoBIM and 3D City Modelling (2 – 12 May 2022)

Tutors: Francesca Noardo and Ken Arroyo Ohori (Delft University of Technology)

• 3D Point Cloud Classification for Mapping Purposes (23 May – 3 June 2022)
  Tutors: Michael Koelle, Norbert Haala (University of Stuttgart), Eleonora Grilli and Fabio Remondino (Fondazione Bruno Kessler)

EduServ courses can be followed over the internet from any location and require about thirty hours of online study.

Course fees are: €400 for 1 or 2 courses, and €500 for 3 or 4 courses. A limited number of scholarships covering the admission fee are available.

INSPIRE Hack 2017 - Open Data, Volunteered Geographic Information and Citizen Observatories

A mai postából. Dr. Suchit Anand a Nottingham Egyetemről a CODATA nemzetközi levelező listáján adja hírül a következő, INSPIRE konferenciához integrált eseményt:

"You might be interested in  the second edition of the INSPIRE Hack, i.e. a hackathon that is part of the INSPIRE Conference 2017. This time, the hackathon will start early in July 2017 when hackathon teams will be created and will start working on their projects before the INSPIRE Conference. The INSPIRE Conference will serve as a platform for presenting the hackathon results. All the hackathon teams will present their projects during a dedicated workshop at the INSPIRE Conference. The workshop including the award ceremony will take place either on 4th or 5th September 2017 in Kehl, Germany.
The INSPIRE Hack supports creativity, innovation, technical capabilities and knowledge sharing. The INSPIRE Hack focuses on methods where citizens are able to contribute to different environmental and societal issues through smart phones and other sensors.

OMEGA: A Systems Approach to Sustainable Development 
Nagyjelentőségű NASA kezdeményezés a fenntartható fejlődés biztosítása szempontjából, amely elsősorban a szabdalt tengerparti sávokkal rendelkező országok számára biztosítana lehetőséget alternatív energiaforrásokkal működtetett tengervizi kultúrák termesztésével, természetes szennyvízkezeléssel és még egy sor környezetjavító hatással, amely a globális éghajlati változásra is jó hatással lehet. A cégvezető Jack Dangermond egymilliárd dollár értékű szoftvert ajánlott fel ingyenesen 100,000 iskola részére az Egyesült Államokban, de az új elv bevezetését a cég világszerte segíti.
