Térinformatika, környezetvédelem és kockázatmenedzsment - Északi országok térinformatikai konferenciája Izlandon

A GI Norden szervezet  környezeti és kockázatmenedzsment konferenciáját Izlandon tartják, ahol terv szerint vulkánlátogatás is lesz a szakmai programban.
Izlandi partnerszervezetünk a LISA képviselője,  Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdóttir asszony,  az EUROGI vezetőségi tagja írja mai levelében:
" Dear members of EUROGI

News from Iceland (!) We are well here in Iceland, rescue groups are starting to clean up ash in the eruption area. Like often around volcanos, this is a very local event and here in Reykjavik we don´t even see the eruption or have had any ash fall. So news about devastating conditions in all of Iceland are surprising.

With the past week in mind I am like to add an event in Iceland that is highly actual ; GI Norden workshop, GIS in Environmental and Risk Management, 14th-15th June. Among presentations are quite a few about the Eyjafjallajökul area, and there will be a field trip to the area.
