The 10th Digital Earth Summit + Locate26 will
be held from 24 to 26 November 2026 in Melbourne, Australia. The Summit
will bring together experts and scholars from research institutions,
education, government departments and industry to conduct in-depth
exchanges on the theories, technologies and applications of Digital
Earth, and continuously promote the expansion and development of
relevant fields.
The Digital Earth Summit, initiated and organized by the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE), is a flagship conference with a strong global profile in the Digital Earth field. Since its inaugural event in New Zealand in 2006, ISDE has convened 9 Summits across 8 countries, including Germany, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Japan, China, Morocco, Russia, and India.
Over the years, the Summit has brought together tens of thousands of leading experts and scholars, alongside representatives from international organizations, governments, academic institutions, and industry, serving as a premier platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The 10th Digital Earth Summit will be co-organized with Locate26, Australia and New Zealand’s flagship geospatial conference. It will offer unparalleled opportunities to explore the latest trends and real-world applications of Digital Earth, while connecting with leading experts from across Australia and around the world.

Abstract submissions are open to all participants and welcomes the ongoing discussion of how technology developed within the spatial, surveying and Digital Earth communities can be used to improve the way we work, live and play in smarter societies.
Please submit your English abstract via the “Digital Earth Abstract Submission” stream on the conference website by 30 June 2026. All abstracts are to be submitted for oral presentation. Each oral presentation (except for YEP Symposium abstracts) will be allocated 20 minutes in length which will include questions. Presentations may have more than one speaker.
