HUNAGI hozzájárulás az ENSZ Adatforradalom jelentéséhez

Dr. Robert Chen, a CIESIN igazgatóhelyettese (Columbia Egyetem) a CODATA levelezési listán keresztül október 24-én küldte meg a címbeli munkához való hozzájárulás lehetőségének hírét.

HUNAGI a kézhezvételkor a felkérést továbbküldte a HUNAGI közösség tagjainak esetleges állásfoglalásra, melynek ma van a határideje. 

A berlini imaGIne konferencia tárgybeli szekciójának eredményeit megosztva, HUNAGI részéről szintén be lett küldve hozzájárulás, melynek kézhez vételét azóta már vissza is igazolták.

A HUNAGI hozzájárulás a jelentős és széles kihatású európai e-Gazdaság irányvonalra  kívánja felhívni a figyelmet a berlini fórum meglátásai alapján, amelyben az adatok forradalmi változást jelentenek majd, ezen belül is a kormányzati nyílt adatok egyre növekvő köre.

"EU is towards a data-driven economy. Open data is significant part of it. The big data market revolutionises not only the decision making but offers opportunities for economic growth, new jobs, ensures to achieve better quality, better efficiency, innovative services and develops ecosystems across the economy and society. Open governmental data means an untapped business estimated 140 bn € in the former EU28. It contributes to better governance, empower citizens, address societal challenges and accelerate scientific progress." Moderated by Andrzej Sambura of ISPIK, the session's keynote speakers were Dr. Márta Nagy-Rothengass of DG CNECT, Prof. Peter Baumann of Jacobs University, Bremen, Prof. Josef Strobl of University Salzburg, and invited Panelists Dr. Marco Minghini of PoliMi at Como, Dr. Jon Blower of University of Reading, and Dr. Zoltán Siki of Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
