"The ePSIplus Thematic Network is organising fifteen international expert Thematic meetings designed to debate a wide range of issues and to arrive at a consensus on recommendations for the 2008 review of the PSI directive (2003/98/EC of 17 November 2003).
The findings and recommendations from these Thematic meetings will be validated at a pre-review conference organised by the ePSIplus Network in close cooperation with the European Commission.
Registration is Open for the 2nd Meeting on the Public Sector Culture Theme
8 October 2007, Bratislava, Slovak Republic
This meeting is about public sector networks sharing of best practice and experiences in the role of training, advice and awareness raising for public sector employees – all focused on working with the PSI Directive 2003/98/EC.
The meeting will be of interest to representatives of private and public organisations, as well as academic bodies and learning organisations including those involved in the following activities (from throughout Europe).
· Providing training courses either standard or bespoke to the public sector
· Providing legal and organisational advice to public sector bodies
· Providing licensing advice to public sector bodies
· Networking with the objective of sharing knowledge amongst public sector bodies and employees
· Organising events forming part of a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Scheme for public sector employees
· Running courses or modules for public sector employees
Alternatively, the meeting will also be of interest to those who have been the recipients of one or more of the above services.
The ePSIplus Network offers support of travel costs for meeting participants.
